Charles Zagara, Tax Attorney

Charles Zagara, JD, owner of Zagara Tax Services and known as the Houston Tax Relief Lawyer, established his Houston, TX, TN tax preparation and tax problem resolution firm in 2014 after relocating from Cleveland Ohio. Charles has been doing this work since 1985. He dedicates himself to helping individuals and self-employed business owners save money and protect themselves by offering expert tax and estate tax planning advice with personalized service, for their specific needs.

As a seasoned tax specialist, Charles is focused on providing top-shelf services when it comes to taxpayer representation before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and State Departments of Revenue Services. He is a Tax Attorney, licensed to practice before the IRS and Unites States Tax Court and trained to advocate on your behalf. 

Charles is also a licensed independent Life Insurance agent in Texas.

Some of Charles’s recently completed client projects include saving delinquent taxpayers’ homes, where the taxpayers’ equity in their home was more than they owed the IRS. He also reduced a client’s audit assessment liability from $105,000 down to just $10,000. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Tax Rep Network and the Ohio Bar He is also trained as a Certified Tax Coach. He is Certified in Taxpayer Representation, by CCH, a leading tax education company.
